Each year 4x4 In Motion hosts a Poker Run on the Niagara Rim Trail located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains off hwy 108.  We work hard to put on one of the best 4x4 club events around.  We also pride ourselves on our high dollar raffle prizes and delicious meal.  Most years a welder or two, PowerTanks, iPods & winches are donated for the raffle to name a few of the great prizes up for grabs.  While our club members guide groups through the Rim Trail's moderetly difficult obstacles, this run is not one for stock SUVs or poorly maintained rigs.

The following SAFETY rules will be enforced for each run, and there will be NO refunds issued to vehicles turned away for not meeting the safety requirements

1. Roll bar or factory installed hard top.
2. Functional parking brake or micro-lock.
3. Tow strap or rope (recommend rated at 2 times the vehicle weight).
4. First aid kit.
5. Jack capable of lifting the vehicle & tools to change tire.
6. Spare tire with diameter within 3 inches of existing tires (no temporary spares).
7. Fire extinguisher with gauge indicating good/full, appropriately stored.
8. Seat belts for all vehicle occupants.
9. Antennas must be rigid or restrained in a manner to prevent injuries.
10. Adequate attachment points front and rear, i.e. tow hooks, receiver, etc. Tow balls are not permitted.
11. Battery hold downs (no bungie cords).
12. Must have functioning low range in transfer case.
